In a groundbreaking step toward holistic rural development, Jai Jawan Jai Kisan Agriculture Society (JJJKAS) is on the verge of signing an MoU with the globally respected Art of Living Foundation. The partnership, currently being finalized at the Art of Living’s headquarters in Bangalore, marks a new chapter for JJJKAS’s work across Bihar.
This collaboration reflects a common belief: true rural prosperity is more than just economic success—it also involves emotional well-being, self-discipline, and community harmony.
JJJKAS and Art of Living envision a development model where mental clarity, leadership training, spiritual health, and sustainable agricultural practices work together. Our rural communities are the backbone of India’s economy—but they’re also under immense pressure. Climate change, financial instability, and lack of emotional support contribute to stress, especially among farmers.
With this MoU, we aim to strengthen the inner resilience of our communities while continuing to provide external support through training, exports, and infrastructure.
The formal collaboration will launch a wide range of initiatives including:
JJJKAS will lead on-ground implementation through its rural hubs across Bihar. With a network built over 10+ years, our team is trusted by the communities we serve. We will:
The need for such a collaboration has never been greater. Farmer suicide rates are still high. Rural youth are migrating away from villages. Families are struggling to balance livelihood with dignity. We believe this MoU can spark meaningful change.
Art of Living’s global reach and JJJKAS’s grounded presence in Bihar make us a complementary force. Together, we aim to uplift not just the economy of rural India—but also its spirit.
Some early-stage activities have begun in Nalanda and Vaishali districts:
These pilots have received overwhelmingly positive feedback, laying a strong foundation for full-scale rollout post-MoU.
JJJKAS has always believed in disciplined, value-driven development. Partnering with the Art of Living Foundation will allow us to add a powerful dimension to our work—one that brings lasting emotional and spiritual wellness to the people of rural Bihar.
The MoU is more than a formal agreement. It’s a statement of intent, and a call to action: let’s not only grow crops—but also grow minds, hearts, and communities.
More updates will follow as the partnership is finalized. The seeds of change have been planted—and with unity, compassion, and clarity, we are ready to nurture them.
